Why I wanted to go to Animas High School was very clear, the education. I wanted to go somewhere where I could learn what I wanted to learn. I also wanted to have a safe environment to be myself and Animas is a great place to do that. I wanted to be able to be myself and make friends with really anyone. I wanted to be surrounded with people who would accept me for who I am. I didn’t want to go to a school with 30 kids per class and Animas has very small class sizes which is very helpful because then any teacher could help me at anytime. I went to mountain middle school and I really liked the hands on learning and teacher student relationships, so I really wanted to continue with this style of learning. My older sister, Maddie Sturm a junior at Animas says she completely loves the hands on learning and teacher and student relation. Those are both something that I really wanted to have in my high school experience. I love all of my teachers and I think that I’m learning so much so far. I’m really looking forward to my upcoming year at a really fun, productive and great school.
